Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs

The Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs assists Service Members, Veterans, and their Families in navigating the system of federal state and local resources and benefits; by providing long-term health care for eligible veterans in our Veterans’ Homes; and by partnering with other agencies and non-profits to help veterans address education, mental health, housing, employment, and other challenges.

USO of Illinois

The USO of Illinois touches the lives of nearly 325,000 Active Duty, Guard and Reserve military and military families throughout Illinois. Offered year round, the USO of Illinois provides over 300 programs and services that enhance the quality of service members lives which raise morale through unique recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities and USO Center facilities.

Victor Tech Inc.

The Victor Tech App is a collection of resources designed to help veterans and their families discover more readily discover services, opportunities, and events within an exclusive private community. The app is available on both iOS and Android.

Student Veterans of America - Illinois

SVA Illinois rallies equip and empower student veterans and student veterans organizations, to maximize their potential as strategic assets through academic achievement, leadership development, career progression, and civic engagement.

Illinois Department of Employment Security

Assisting veterans in finding gainful employment is a top priority at IDES.  Their staff provides veterans with the priority of service for employment services (does not apply to unemployment insurance).

Illinois VSO Office Locations

There are nearly 40 VSO offices located throughout Illinois with Employment Specialists available to provide a full array of services to assist veterans.

Veterans Crisis Line

Connect with the Veterans Crisis Line to reach caring, qualified responders with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Many of the responders are veterans themselves.

The Road Home Program at Rush

The Road Home Program at the Center for Veterans and Their Families at Rush provides support, counseling and mental health care services to help you and your family heal and cope with the invisible wounds of war and life.

Military Spouse Corporate Career Network

The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that focuses on employment readiness training programs, job placement solutions, and no-cost services to all military-affiliated spouses, retired military spouses, and caregivers to war wounded heroes.

Veteran CASY Employment

To expand employment opportunities for service members and veterans through one-on-one employment placement assistance focused on the use of gap skills training and targeted resume and interview assistance, LinkedIn optimization, and connections to employer partners in order to create a smoother transition process.
