
Erica Borggren

Erica Borggren - Erica currently serves as Vice-President, Corporate Customer Strategy & Solutions at Exelon Corporation, responsible for developing Exelon-wide customer engagement and experience strategies, with a particular focus on affordability, sustainability, and customer segment strategies. She also leads governance and oversight related to enterprise customer initiatives, as well as planning and prioritization of Exelon’s multi-operating company customer investments.
In previous roles, Erica served as Vice-President of Customer Solutions at ComEd, where she led the company's sustainability programs like energy efficiency, demand response, solar and beneficial electrification. She has also led ComEd's customer channels and communications functions, including media, stakeholder, and employee communications.
A Rhodes Scholar and West Point graduate, Erica Borggren is a former Army captain who served in Iraq, in the Republic of Korea, and throughout the U.S. Central Command region in the Middle East. She previously served as the Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, spearheading legislative changes and public-private partnerships that earned her recognition as a 2014 White House “Champion of Change.” She also served as Acting Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation and is an alumna of Leadership Greater Chicago and Crain's 40-under-40. She resides in Chicago and serves on the boards of Metropolitan Family Services and Illinois Joining Forces.
